I began my private Counselling practice, Cogni (short for cognitive) Academy in 2015. I decided to pursue a Master of Counselling after many of my Beauty Therapy clients were pouring their hearts out to me, experiencing their own levels of family trauma.
This was also the year our family lost my beautiful Mum to an extremely rare bone cancer called Multiple Myeloma and the 21st anniversary of rehabilitating my son and I, from the rare experience of childbirth trauma. Finally and not least of the traumatic events was my beloved Dad undergoing a triple bypass for his heart around the same time.
This strengthened my desire, resolve and commitment to work with people experiencing trauma, grief and loss and other issues that negatively impact individuals, couples and families.
In 2020 the Transform From Trauma (TFT) Counselling Program was born, created and subsequently launched on 12th January 2021. I am currently inviting many wonderful survivors into our TFT community, and they are receiving extraordinary results…places are limited, register with me here to find out more.
